How to book a package
Booking one of our packages takes a form, a quote you can read line by line, and a written confirmation before any payment. This page sets out each step, what we need from you and what you receive.

Choose a package, a month, your party size and, if you know it, a hotel level. That is enough.

Receive the quote
By email: every line of the standard table priced for your dates, at the level you chose or at all three.

Adjust
Change the level, the rooms or the boat type. Each version is priced again in full.

Confirm in writing
We check hotels and boats, then send a written confirmation with the payment terms.

Final details
Passport names for the ferry, flight times, dietary needs. Then you travel.
Step 1: the form
The form is at the bottom of every page. Five fields are required: which package, your name, your email, the month you plan to travel and how many are travelling. The optional section lets you add the hotel level, the number of rooms, shared or private boats and anything we should know, such as mobility or diet.
If you have not decided between two packages, say so in the notes. We can quote both side by side, with the lines that differ set next to each other.
Step 2: the quote
We reply by email to the address you give. The quote is the standard inclusions table with a figure on each line, for your dates and party size. If you did not choose a hotel level, we price all three, so you see exactly what the step from Standard to Superior or Deluxe costs on your route.
- Each hotel night as its own line, with the hotel and room category named once we have checked availability
- The car and driver, and the guide, as lines shared by your party
- Each boat trip as shared or private, as you chose
- Entrance tickets, lunches and, on the six-day package, the ferry ticket
- Single supplements, if any, as separate lines
- Anything optional you asked about, priced separately so you can remove it

Step 3: adjusting
You can change the hotel level for one town or all of them, switch a boat from shared to private, split a double into two singles or move the dates. Each change is priced again in full, never as a vague "plus a little". What you cannot change is the route; that is what keeps the lines comparable. If you need a different route, a fixed package is not the right product.
Step 4: written confirmation
When you are happy with a version, we check availability for each hotel night and, on the six-day package, the ferry. We then send a written confirmation that names every hotel and room category, the times of the early starts, and the payment terms: how much is due, when, and how to pay. Nothing is payable before you have that written confirmation.
Pay only to the account shown on your written confirmation. If a message asks you to pay anywhere else, do not pay; send the form and ask us first.
Step 5: final details
- Names exactly as in your passports. We buy the ferry tickets to Phu Quoc with your names, and you need your passport to board.
- Your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for the 07:30 pick-up, or your arrival details if we meet you elsewhere.
- Your flight out, so the drop-off or the Phu Quoc transfer is timed to it.
- Diet and mobility. Boarding the small boats means stepping down from a wharf into a moving boat. Tell us if that is hard and we will say honestly which parts of the route work.
- Your visa. Vietnam e-visas are issued through the Immigration Department's official portal. Apply yourself, in good time; we do not apply on your behalf.

Changing or cancelling
If you need to change dates after confirmation, we ask the hotels and boats on your behalf and tell you what, if anything, the change costs before we make it. The cancellation terms, including what is refundable at each stage, are written on your confirmation, because they depend on the hotels and the season. Read them before you pay the first amount.
On the day
Your guide meets you at your hotel at the pick-up time on your itinerary, normally 07:30. On packages with an early market or forest start, the guide confirms the next morning's time each evening. Weather can move a boat trip by an hour or swap the order of two visits; the guide decides on the spot, and nothing on your quote disappears because of it. If a named item cannot be done at all, it is refunded at cost.

Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
How far ahead should we book?
For most months a few weeks is enough. For the weeks around Lunar New Year, the Ba Chua Xu festival in Chau Doc and the December to March season on Phu Quoc, earlier is better because rooms run short.
Can we book for a single traveller?
Yes. Every package runs for one traveller. The price is quoted on its own row, because the car, the guide and the room are not shared.
Do you need our passport details?
Only the names as written in your passports, and only for the six-day package, where we buy the ferry tickets with your names. Bring the passports themselves; you need them to board.
What if we arrive in Vietnam the same morning?
We do not recommend it. The packages start at 07:30 and the first day is a long one. Arrive the day before.
